Requirements

Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or urban design.
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and AutoCAD software.
Excellent command of French.
Significant writing skills.
Possess a vehicle and a valid driver's license.
Hold the ASP Construction card for general health and safety on construction sites.

Responsibilities

Perform supervision of landscape architecture work to ensure the quality and conformity of execution with the contractor.
Ensure follow-up of site work in accordance with contractual documents.
Prepare change notices.
Participate in meetings and draft minutes of site meetings and client meetings.
Write progress reports.
Act as an intermediary between general contractors, the client, and the Ville en vert team.
Study and interpret construction documents.
Process, review, and respond to requests for information and other submissions.
Make recommendations and consult the client in the development of solutions.
Resolve problems that arise on site.
Coordinate revisions to construction documents.
Perform verification of shop drawings, prepare deficiency lists, and follow up on them.
Coordinate the integration of plans with various stakeholders.
Prepare and issue site memos and deficiency lists for all non-conformities and follow up on them.
Participate in the development and preparation of plans and specifications for permit and construction purposes.
