About The Position

We are looking for a Cloud Architect to join our team. Requirements

  • Solid expertise in Microsoft Azure (infrastructure, security, production).
  • Strong experience in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation tools (Terraform or Bicep).
  • Good understanding of CI/CD methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of security requirements in a banking environment.
  • Excellent communication in French and English. English is required, as the role involves communicating with clients and partners outside of Quebec.
  • Legal authorization to work for any employer in Canada.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AKS, FinOps, and high-availability environments.
  • Knowledge of Ansible, Packer, and Chocolatey.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, DEC, or equivalent technical certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the AMER region within a global Cloud team split between Montreal and Paris.
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of the public Cloud platform on Microsoft Azure.
  • Define architectures and solutions aligned with business needs and security constraints.
  • Automate the provisioning of cloud services using Terraform, scripts, and related tools.
  • Ensure the maintenance and upgrades of Azure services; manage production incidents in coordination with Microsoft.
  • Develop tools to improve cloud services (cost monitoring, resilience verification, etc.).
  • Provide reusable code examples and templates to accelerate public Cloud adoption.
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous delivery) pipelines for build and test processes.
  • Support production environments and ensure the reliability and performance of the platform.
  • Train and advise internal teams on Azure usage and best architecture practices.
