As an Microsoft Security Architect within the Professional Services organization, you will have the opportunity to design, plan, and architect technology solutions based on the identity management and workplace security portfolio. As the lead subject matter expert on identity management and workplace security, this role supports all aspects of design and service delivery, and facilitates technical workshops with our valued enterprise and public sector clients.

Computer Science / Information Technology degree or diploma or equivalent industry experience.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
8+ years’ work experience in a client-facing professional services role, or 10 + years of related, progressively senior industry experience.
Updated Certifications and training to include; Microsoft Certified Security Operations Analyst Associate, and Security Administrator Associate.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver identity management and workplace security solutions that meet client requirements and timelines.
Serve as the technical authority to lead Identity Management and Workplace Security engagements, which would include upgrades, installations, configurations, migrations, security enhancement, administration, policy development, and user training. This will require a technical understanding of cloud security solutions including M365 Defender, Defender for cloud, and Sentinel.
Work closely with co-workers (internally), end-users (externally), and vendor representatives (Microsoft) on the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of MS Teams, in accordance with contract SLAs.
Mentor and develop Consultants, Engineers and Technicians on the team, and provide guidance on their technical skills, as well as the soft skills required for their success.
Function as a technical expert, with strong customer interaction skills, and the ability to advise on, implement, and manage complex solution and service deployments for clients.
Have a hunger for learning, and take advantage of the opportunities to pursue relevant certifications and training for Microsoft Endpoint Security and Identity Management.
Serve as a technical authority and subject matter expert for Softchoice, supporting other individuals and teams at trade shows, events, and speaking engagements that specifically require your technical expertise.

Use technology expertise, supporting a detailed, actionable Statement of Work with architects, engineers, and project managers.
