About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Arbor Crew Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience and a proven track record in operating hydraulic lifts, expertise in roping and rigging, and hands-on experience in hazardous tree removals and crane work. As a pivotal figure, you will oversee a team of 3-5 groundsmen, ensuring efficient and high-quality execution of residential tree work. Your leadership will be key in maintaining safety standards and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in aerial operations, including hydraulic lift operation, roping, and rigging, hazardous tree removals, and crane work in residential settings.
• Proficient in the operation of hydraulic lifts and cranes.
• Advanced knowledge of roping and rigging techniques.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the industry.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks at heights and in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain hydraulic lifts with proficiency to ensure safe and efficient access to elevated work areas.
• Lead and manage a crew of 3-5 groundmen, fostering effective teamwork and ensuring timely task execution.
• Coordinate with ground crews to ensure seamless communication and execution of crane operations.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hydraulic lift equipment.
• Utilize advanced roping and rigging techniques to secure equipment and materials at height.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all roping and rigging activities.
• Execute hazardous tree removals with precision, considering safety and environmental impact.
• Identify and assess potential risks associated with tree removals, implementing necessary safety measures.
• Operate cranes to lift and move heavy objects safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, protocols, and industry standards to mitigate risks during aerial operations.
• Conduct safety briefings and inspections before and after each task to ensure a secure work environment.
