About The Position
Language Trainers is an international language training company working with freelance teachers of 99+ languages in hundreds of cities worldwide. Founded in 2004, our motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere (and Online). We provide customized language training to professionals and private students for work, family, and travel purposes. We are currently looking for a freelance Arabic Teacher for one of our clients in Phoenix, United States. The course type is General, with a one-to-one format. The total hours are 102, with session lengths of two-hours. The student is a beginner, aged 25-34, and prefers to start as soon as possible. The student's motivation for learning Arabic is to better communicate while traveling in the SWA/NA region, due to having extended family and friends from Syria, Kuwait, and Egypt.
Requirements
- Native Arabic speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter.
- Have a valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of the specified location (Phoenix, 85086).
Responsibilities
- Provide customized Arabic language training to a beginner student.
- Conduct one-to-one sessions.
- Adapt to the student's schedule, which includes weekdays after 5 pm or anytime on weekends.
