About The Position

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join the accounting team. The ideal candidate is organized and accurate, with experience managing customer accounts, invoicing, and payment collections in a fast-paced environment. The role supports the team's success through accountability and a strong accounting background.

Requirements

• Previous accounts receivable or accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Experience in the trucking, construction, or transportation industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and distribute customer invoices accurately and timely.
• Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Record and apply customer payments to appropriate accounts.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding invoices and payment inquiries.
• Prepare accounts receivable aging reports and assist with month-end closing.
• Work closely with management and other departments to ensure accurate billing and collections.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
