About The Position

ProFast is seeking an AR/AP Specialist to join their Finance team in Harrisburg. This role will manage the daily accounts payable and receivable tasks essential to business operations. The ideal candidate will go beyond simple transaction processing, collaborating with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, enhance processes, and gain exposure to various accounting functions. Requirements

Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
1+ years of AP, AR, bookkeeping, or general accounting experience
Experience with ERP/accounting systems; NetSuite experience is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Notice discrepancies and want to understand what caused them
Enjoy troubleshooting and solving problems
Take ownership rather than waiting for someone else to resolve an issue
Can balance routine transactional work with changing priorities and projects
Are curious and interested in learning new areas of accounting
Look for ways to make processes work better

Responsibilities

Process purchase order receipts and vendor invoices accurately and timely
Match invoices to packing slips and purchase orders and identify discrepancies
Work with vendors to resolve invoice issues and obtain missing documentation
Review accounts payable activity for accuracy and process vendor payments
Record accounting entries and apply customer payments
Process monthly corporate credit card expense reports and resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate financial records within our ERP system
Support Finance team projects, process improvements, and other accounting activities as needed
