About the role Are you passionate about water safety and creating a positive member experience? We're looking for a motivated team member to help keep our aquatic facility safe, clean, and running smoothly. As part of our team, you'll supervise aquatic areas, maintain pool deck cleanliness, and support the success of our aquatic programs. Candidates should have a basic understanding of water chemistry and public pool sanitation practices, with the ability to obtain CPO certification within 30-60 days. Responsible for safety, member engagement, and the quality of the aquatic programs during your shifts. You will be responsible for pool deck maintenance and aquatic facility supervision.

Requirements

  • Certified Pool Operator certification within 60 days of hire.
  • Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
  • Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of water chemistry and public pool sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor patrons using the facility and enforce/explain rules as necessary.
  • Respond appropriately to any emergency situations.
  • Track and monitor pool chemistry results and report facility issues to Aquatics Manager and General Manager.
  • Provide leadership to facility cleaning, pool deck maintenance, and aquatic program supervision.
  • Assist Aquatics Manager with staff communications and attend all required staff meetings and trainings.
  • Provide customer service and communication with members.
  • Other duties as needed/assigned.
