About The Position
The YMCA of Middle TN is looking for an Aquatics Coordinator, Part-time to lead aquatic programming, build a strong team, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for all. This role involves planning, organizing, and overseeing all aquatic programs, hiring, training, and motivating aquatics staff, managing pool operations, and building relationships with members to ensure an exceptional experience.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 18
- 1,000+ hours of aquatic experience, including 2 years of teaching aquatic programs
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience with pool operations
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Pool Operator certification
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee all aquatic programs.
- Hire, train, and motivate aquatics staff.
- Manage pool operations, including chemical testing and maintenance.
- Build relationships with members and ensure an exceptional experience.
