The position involves supervising aquatic areas, maintaining pool deck cleanliness, and supporting aquatic programs. Candidates should have a basic understanding of water chemistry and public pool sanitation, with the ability to obtain CPO certification within 30-60 days. Requirements

Certified Pool Operator certification within 60 days of hire.
Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

Basic understanding of water chemistry.
Basic understanding of public pool sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

Supervise aquatic areas.
Maintain pool deck cleanliness.
Support the success of aquatic programs.
Monitor patrons using the facility and enforce/explain rules as necessary.
Respond appropriately to any emergency situations.
Track and monitor pool chemistry results.
Report facility issues to Aquatics Manager and General Manager.
Provide leadership to facility cleaning, pool deck maintenance, and aquatic program supervision.
Assist Aquatics Manager with staff communications.
Attend all required staff meetings and trainings.
Provide customer service and communication with members.
Other duties as needed/assigned.
