About The Position
YMCA at Sumner County is Now Hiring for Aquatics Coordinator, Part-time. This position is part-time, up to 25 hours weekly with the opportunity to seasonally flex up to full-time hours. The YMCA of Middle TN is looking for an Aquatics Coordinator, Part-time to lead our aquatic programming, build a strong team, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for all.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 18
- 1,000+ hours of aquatic experience, including 2 years of teaching aquatic programs
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience with pool operations
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Pool Operator certification
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee all aquatic programs.
- Hire, train, and motivate aquatics staff.
- Manage pool operations, including chemical testing and maintenance.
- Build relationships with members and ensure an exceptional experience.
