Requirements

Minimum age of 21
High school diploma
Certified lifeguard status
Up-to-date CPR, First Aid, AED, and O2 certifications (or ability to attain within 60 days)
Demonstrated initiative, good judgment, and ability to make independent decisions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to conduct engaging in-service programs

Responsibilities

Scheduling and supervising lifeguards and swim instructors
Ensuring aquatic programs run smoothly
Filling in for absent staff when needed
Securing substitutes to maintain a safe environment
Assisting in conducting lifeguard in-services and trainings
Hiring, coaching, and disciplining staff
Performing weekly safety checks
Assisting with payroll duties
Coordinating pool schedules
Contributing to the development and implementation of Aquatics program's communication and marketing strategies
