About The Position

Highbar Physical Therapy is hiring an Aquatic Care Coordinator (ACC) to support the growth and operations of their aquatics program. This administrative support role works closely with the Director of Aquatics and involves maintaining aquatic schedules, managing vendor contracts and invoices, monitoring pool supply inventory, ensuring patient insurance authorizations and scheduling, and overseeing the independent pool program. The ACC will also assist with business development initiatives for the aquatics program and perform other related duties as assigned. This is a full-time, immediate need position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Two to three years of related experience and/or training

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in healthcare administration or a related field of study

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve daily messages from the answering machine and update schedules.
  • Run daily copay collection reports for aquatic visits.
  • Assist the Director of Aquatics in coordinating and managing pool vendors.
  • Manage contracts and invoices for outside pool venues and ensure timely payments.
  • Monitor inventory and order pool supplies in coordination with the Director of Aquatics.
  • Ensure patients have proper insurance authorization for aquatic visits, adhere to visit frequency, and are scheduled appropriately.
  • Oversee the independent pool program, including member attendance and monthly payment collection.
  • Assist the Director of Aquatics with business development initiatives for the aquatics program.
  • Perform other duties related to the aquatic program as assigned.
