About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Aqua Fitness Instructor to lead a weekly class on Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday at 8:00 & 8:30AM, Deep or Shallow formats. We are looking for an instructor who can create a comprehensive and engaging workout suitable for participants of all experience levels.

Requirements

• Current group fitness or aqua fitness certification
• Experience teaching aqua fitness in required
• Current liability insurance
• Strong communication skills and a professional, reliable demeanor
• CPR/AED certification (required)

Responsibilities

• Lead a 50-minute aqua fitness class weekly (deep and/or shallow water)
• Design well-balanced, low- to high-intensity workouts that utilize the properties of water for strength, cardio, and mobility
• Provide clear instruction, modifications, and progressions to accommodate all fitness levels
• Ensure participant safety, including proper use of equipment and water depth considerations
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and inclusive class environment
• Being dependable and punctual is a must
