About The Position

FastCare is seeking an experienced APRN - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide same-day in-person and virtual care for adults and children older than 18 months. The role uses primary care skills to treat acute conditions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The clinician provides independent patient care with the support and expertise of a collaborative team within a large hospital system and its academic affiliation with the Medical College of Wisconsin. New graduates will be considered. Part-time options are available at the Greenfield Meijer location.

Requirements

For Nurse Practitioners: A master's degree in nursing and graduation from an accredited Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner program are required.
For Nurse Practitioners: A current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a multistate nursing license from a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state is required.
For Nurse Practitioners: Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing is required.
For Nurse Practitioners: Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) is required.
For Nurse Practitioners: American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS), or an AHA-approved equivalent, is required upon hire.
For Nurse Practitioners: Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration are required or the candidate must be eligible to obtain them.
For Physician Assistants: A bachelor's degree in physician assistant studies is required.
For Physician Assistants: Current state certification as a PA and current DEA registration are required.
For Physician Assistants: American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS), or an AHA-approved equivalent, is required upon hire.
For Physician Assistants: Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration are required or the candidate must be eligible to obtain them.

Nice To Haves

For Nurse Practitioners: A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred.
