Requirements
- For Nurse Practitioners: Applicants must hold one of the following certifications for pediatric primary care: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care (PNP-PC)
- For Physician Assistants: Graduate of an accredited PA program, Current NCCPA certification, Eligible for North Carolina licensure
- All Applicants: North Carolina license (or eligibility)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to compassionate pediatric care
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Strong new graduates welcome
Responsibilities
- Performing well-child exams
- Evaluating sick visits
- Diagnosing and managing common pediatric conditions
- Educating families
- Collaborating with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care
- Maintaining accurate, timely medical records
- Communicating effectively with families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care
