About The Position
The Apprenticeship Coordinator will play an integral role in supporting both our apprentices and the wider team through a wide range of administrative and pastoral duties. The Apprenticeship Program plays a vital role in building the shipyard's future skilled trades workforce by supporting apprentices throughout their development journey. Through the coordination of on-the-job learning, trade rotations, technical training, examinations, mentorship opportunities, and individualized learning supports, the team ensures apprentices gain the hands-on experience, knowledge, and skills required to become certified journeypersons. By fostering a culture of learning, growth, and career development, the Apprenticeship Program helps shape the next generation of skilled trades professionals who will contribute to the long-term success of the shipyard.
