About The Position
Pavion is seeking an Installer Apprentice to join its security business unit. Pavion provides fire, security, and communication integration solutions, including the design, installation, service, and maintenance of fire alarm systems, critical communications, video surveillance, access control, and AV technologies. The role assists with configuring and troubleshooting ongoing projects. Regular driving to customer and project sites is required. The hourly pay range is $32.08–$40.83, based on Union rates. Benefits are provided per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- IBEW Union Member.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in installation or service of security or low-voltage systems.
- Expertise with field wiring, terminations, and headend equipment setup.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work from blueprints or wiring diagrams.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in high-security environments.
- Valid driver’s license; the position requires regular driving to customer and project sites.
