About The Position

Suburban Land Rover of Troy is hiring an Apprentice Technician to perform minor vehicle maintenance and assist with service department duties. The role includes changing engine oil and filters, inspecting vehicle condition, and communicating recommended repairs and maintenance to the service advisor liaison. The dealership is part of Lithia & Driveway, which operates more than 300 dealerships nationwide representing over 30 manufacturers in 25 states, and offers opportunities to pursue short- and long-term career goals.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license in the applicant's state of residence.
• Acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an express or quick-lube technician preferred.
• ASE and/or manufacturer certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor maintenance, such as changing engine oil and filters.
• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspections, including tires, brakes, and fluid levels.
• Communicate appropriate vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.
• Assist with other duties as assigned within the Service Department.
