About The Position
Roto-Rooter is hiring an Apprentice Plumber to provide plumbing and drain services. The company provides 12 weeks of paid initial training, continued training through its plumbing school, and guidance through the plumber licensing process. Apprentices earn while learning the trade. First-year service technicians earn an average of $55,000, with pay increasing quickly with experience.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical aptitude is desirable.
- Prior plumbing experience is not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose plumbing and drain issues and offer cost estimates.
- Make the necessary repairs for customers.
- Document estimates and invoices in writing and on a provided smartphone.
- Collect payment and proceed to the next service call.
- Provide effective solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction.
