About The Position

Super Service Today is seeking an Apprentice Plumber to perform plumbing and heating service, repairs, and installations in residential and light commercial settings. The role involves troubleshooting plumbing, gas, and heating systems; identifying long-term solutions for customers; and installing and servicing plumbing and heating equipment, including high-efficiency hot water systems, tankless water heaters, and steam heating systems. The plumber will also rough in and finish drains, vents, and hot and cold-water lines for bath and kitchen remodeling in accordance with local codes. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 4 years of experience.
Ability to learn and perform multiple technical tasks and periodically upgrade skills to meet changing job conditions.
General plumbing service, repairs, and installation experience in residential and light commercial settings.
Ability to troubleshoot plumbing, gas, and heating systems.
Ability to service, repair, and install plumbing and heating systems, including high-efficiency hot water systems, tankless water heaters, and steam heating systems.
Ability to rough in and finish drains, vents, and hot and cold-water lines in accordance with local codes.
Ability to load and unload heavy objects, dirt, and other materials.
Professional and respectful communication with customers, office staff, and coworkers.
Ability to follow company policies and procedures and perform work thoroughly, accurately, and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Provide general plumbing service, repairs, and installations in residential and light commercial settings.
Troubleshoot plumbing, gas, and heating systems.
Present customers with options for long-term solutions.
Service, repair, and install components of plumbing and heating systems.
Install high-efficiency hot water systems and on-demand tankless water heaters.
Install and service steam heating systems.
Rough in and finish drains, vents, and hot and cold-water lines for bath and kitchen remodeling according to local codes.
Conduct thorough inspections and provide accurate quotes for replacements or repairs.
Load and unload heavy objects, dirt, and other materials.
Follow company policies and procedures and communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and coworkers.
Arrive on time and work hard, smart, and efficiently.
Participate in ongoing learning, development, and training.
