Apprentice Plumber
About The Position
Roto-Rooter is hiring an Apprentice Plumber to provide plumbing and drain solutions while developing trade skills through paid training and ongoing instruction at its plumbing school. The company provides an initial 12 weeks of paid training and guidance through the plumber licensing process. First-year service technicians earn an average of $55,000, with pay increasing quickly with experience. The role involves responding to plumbing service calls, diagnosing problems, providing cost estimates, completing repairs, documenting estimates and invoices, and collecting payment. Prior plumbing experience is not necessary.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose plumbing and drain issues and offer cost estimates to customers.
- Make the necessary repairs for customers.
- Document estimates and invoices in writing and using a provided smartphone.
- Collect payment and proceed to the next service call.
- Provide effective solutions for plumbing and drain issues while ensuring customer satisfaction.
