About The Position
Roto-Rooter is hiring an Apprentice Plumber/service technician to diagnose and resolve plumbing and drain issues while ensuring customer satisfaction. The role begins with 12 weeks of paid training and includes continued training through the company’s plumbing school. Employees earn while learning the trade, and Roto-Rooter guides them through the plumber licensing process. First-year service technicians earn an average of $55,000, with pay increasing with experience.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical aptitude is desirable.
- Prior plumbing experience is not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose plumbing and drain issues.
- Offer cost estimates and finalize the service transaction.
- Make necessary repairs for customers.
- Document estimates and invoices in writing and on a provided smartphone.
- Collect payment and proceed to the next service call.
