About The Position
Roto-Rooter is hiring plumbing apprentices/service technicians to diagnose and resolve customers’ plumbing and drain problems. The company provides an initial 12 weeks of paid training, ongoing training through its plumbing school, and guidance through the plumber licensing process. First-year service technicians can expect to earn an average of $55,000, with pay increasing quickly with experience.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical aptitude is desirable.
- Prior plumbing experience is not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose plumbing and drain problems during service calls.
- Provide cost estimates and close the sale.
- Make the necessary repairs for customers.
- Document estimates and invoices in writing and on a provided smartphone.
- Collect payment and proceed to the next service call.
