About The Position
Roto-Rooter is hiring an Apprentice Plumber to provide plumbing and drain services. The role begins with 12 weeks of paid training, followed by continued training through the company’s plumbing school. Employees earn while learning the trade and receive guidance through the plumber licensing process. This is a commissioned, non-exempt position with a stated salary range of $45,000–$75,000 per year. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical aptitude is desirable.
- Prior plumbing experience is not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose plumbing and drain issues and offer cost estimates to customers.
- Complete necessary repairs for customers.
- Document estimates and invoices in writing and on a provided smartphone.
- Collect payment and proceed to the next service call.
- Provide effective solutions for plumbing and drain issues while ensuring customer satisfaction.
