About The Position
Roto-Rooter is hiring an Apprentice Plumber/service technician to diagnose and resolve plumbing and drain issues while providing effective solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position includes an initial 12 weeks of paid training and ongoing training through the company’s plumbing school. Employees earn while learning the trade and receive guidance through the plumber licensing process to support career advancement. First-year service technicians can expect to earn $55,000 on average, with pay increasing quickly with experience.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical aptitude is desirable.
- Prior plumbing experience is not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose plumbing and drain issues during service calls.
- Offer cost estimates and finalize transactions with customers.
- Perform necessary customer repairs.
- Document estimates and invoices in writing and on a provided smartphone.
- Collect payment and proceed to the next service call.
