About The Position

First-year service technicians can expect to earn an average of $55,000, with pay increasing with experience. Roto-Rooter provides an initial 12 weeks of paid training and ongoing education through its plumbing school, allowing apprentices to earn while learning the trade and receive guidance through the plumber licensing process.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide solutions to plumbing and drain problems.
Diagnose problems and provide cost estimates to close sales.
Perform sewer and drain cleaning services for customers utilizing specialized Roto-Rooter equipment and tools.
Document estimates and invoices, both in writing and on a provided smartphone.
Collect monetary payment.
Engage in direct interactions with vulnerable populations, including children and the elderly.
Conduct extensive driving to customer locations in a timely and professional manner.
Enter customers’ residences to deliver reliable service while resolving plumbing issues.
