Apprentice Plumber/HVAC
About The Position
The Apprentice Plumber/HVAC Tech works in the Mechanical Department and assists journeymen with plumbing and HVAC repairs, construction, and retrofits. The position may also perform other duties and projects as required by Administration and Management. The role involves working indoors and outdoors, with possible exposure to inclement weather year-round. Physical requirements include lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, working in close quarters, and potentially sitting, standing, bending, stooping, or squatting for extended periods. The position is salary non-exempt, with a stated pay range of $23,000–$42,000. Full-time positions include medical, dental, and vision insurance, with biweekly paycheck deductions varying by coverage tier.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Good communication and written skills.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and climb ladders.
- Ability to work in close quarters.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and squat for extended periods, as required.
