About The Position

Coach Canada is seeking individuals at various stages of their skilled trades career, including registered apprentices, entry-level candidates pursuing apprenticeship, and fully licensed 310T Truck and Coach Technicians. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, technical excellence, and continuous development within a fast-paced maintenance environment.

Requirements

  • Registered 310T Apprentice or valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician License (or in progress toward registration)
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in diesel, coach, or heavy-duty vehicle maintenance
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, diagnostics, and repair processes (level of depth aligned with experience)
  • Knowledge of or exposure to Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations and safety standards
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a maintenance team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach to troubleshooting
  • Willingness to learn and actively participate in apprenticeship training and mentorship programs
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, and working in various shop conditions
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
  • Ability to meet all requirements of a safety-sensitive position, including participation in the Company’s Drug and Alcohol Testing Program

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with systems such as Fleet Focus or digital work order platforms
  • Commercial license (BZ or higher) or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel, coach, or heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Adhere to Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team.
  • Participate in apprenticeship training and mentorship programs.
  • Utilize digital work order platforms.
  • Obtain a commercial driver's license if applicable.
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, and working in various shop conditions.
