About The Position

Coach Canada is seeking individuals at various stages of their skilled trades career, including registered apprentices, entry-level candidates pursuing apprenticeship, and fully licensed 310T Truck and Coach Technicians. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, technical excellence, and continuous development within a fast-paced maintenance environment.

Requirements

Registered 310T Apprentice or valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician License (or in progress toward registration)
Demonstrated interest or experience in diesel, coach, or heavy-duty vehicle maintenance
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, diagnostics, and repair processes (level of depth aligned with experience)
Knowledge of or exposure to Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations and safety standards
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a maintenance team environment
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach to troubleshooting
Willingness to learn and actively participate in apprenticeship training and mentorship programs
Basic computer proficiency
Valid driver’s license
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, and working in various shop conditions
Must be able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
Ability to meet all requirements of a safety-sensitive position, including participation in the Company’s Drug and Alcohol Testing Program

Nice To Haves

Experience with systems such as Fleet Focus or digital work order platforms
Commercial license (BZ or higher) or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel, coach, or heavy-duty vehicles.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
Adhere to Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations and safety standards.
Collaborate with the maintenance team.
Participate in apprenticeship training and mentorship programs.
Utilize digital work order platforms.
Obtain a commercial driver's license if applicable.
Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, and working in various shop conditions.
Work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
