VVG is looking for an Apprentice-Level 1 Technician to join our team in Fontana, CA! As an Apprentice, you will be integral to our truck repair process, creating repair plans, ordering parts, and tagging warranty items. Daily, you'll update your Foreman on progress, maintain clean workspaces, and learn service operations through training and shadowing experienced technicians.

Requirements

Completion of a technician training course or equivalent work knowledge required
Mechanical aptitude
Positive attitude
Motivated

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or the equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

Performs oil change
Performs diesel particulate filter cleaning
Performs brake inspections and works on brakes
Performs general maintenance of the service department including sweeping, cleaning and other maintenance tasks as needed
Create repair plans
Order parts
Tag warranty items
Update Foreman on progress
Maintain clean workspaces
Learn service operations through training and shadowing experienced technicians
