About The Position
Signet Jewelers is hiring entry-level Jeweler Apprentices for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Apprentices learn the business from the ground up through a full training program designed to develop their skills and support progression toward becoming a Bench Jeweler. The role starts with administrative and clerical work, customer service, and jewelry polishing, with training in the basics of jewelry repair and quality control. Team members may advance from apprentice to artisan in the company’s promote-from-within environment. Design & Service Center Team Members work to deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime. Hours vary and include some nights and weekends.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Some knowledge of jewelry or jewelry repair/design preferred but not required.
- Customer-service mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
- High standard for quality work.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Multitasking and time-management skills.
- Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service and interact with stores and customers.
- Complete administrative and clerical tasks.
- Photograph jewelry for intake and tracking.
- Learn and perform basic jewelry repair tasks, beginning with polishing and quality control.
- Train toward becoming a Bench Jeweler.
- Help deliver a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.
