About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking an entry-level Apprentice Jeweler for its Field Design & Service Center Team. The role offers a training program designed to develop skills from apprentice to jeweler, with an opportunity to progress toward becoming a Bench Jeweler in a promote-from-within environment. Apprentices learn the business from the ground up, handling customer service and administrative responsibilities while learning jewelry intake, tracking, polishing, quality control, and the basics of jewelry repair. Candidates with a passion for learning the trade are considered, including those without prior jewelry experience.

Requirements

• Customer-service orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
• High standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle shipping and receiving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage time.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Basic jewelry or jewelry repair/design knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and interact with stores and customers.
• Complete administrative and clerical tasks.
• Photograph jewelry for intake and tracking.

• Train toward becoming a Bench Jeweler.
• Contribute to a Customer-First experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.
