Climate Systems, LLC is seeking a motivated and reliable HVAC Apprentice to support our HVAC Service technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1 year of experience in a construction-related field preferred, prior experience in HVAC is a plus.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Responsibilities
- Assist HVAC technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.
- Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC units.
- Install ductwork, thermostats, and other HVAC components.
- Safely handle tools, equipment, and materials in accordance with safety standards.
- Maintain clean work areas and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to further develop HVAC knowledge and skills.
- Assist with inventory management of parts and tools.
- Comply with company policies, safety protocols, and local building codes
- Other such duties as assigned from time to time.
