About The Position

Kings Engineering has exciting opportunities for our next intake of Apprentices, commencing in December 2026 for our 2027 Apprenticeship Program. If successful in gaining one of these sought after opportunities, you will embark on a structured training program with potential for site placements across the Bloomfield Group and can expect to work in a caring environment where your learning is guided by experienced tradespersons, supervisors, and managers. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will learn how to: Maintain a safe and clean working environment and be a champion of safety Overhaul and repair a wide range of mobile plant equipment from various industries including, but not limited to, roadheaders, dozers, graders, drills, waters carts, haul trucks, shuttle cars, rail wagons, with working voltages from 12v dc to 1100v ac Correctly and safely operate high risk workshop machines such as overhead cranes and forklifts Interpret Electrical schematics Install a wide range of electrical systems, repair electrical components

Requirements

  • Access to your own reliable transport to and from site
  • Possess strong mathematical aptitude with a minimum of Year 10 completion prior to commencement of Apprentice Program
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for your chosen trade
  • Take pride in the quality of your work
  • Be able to work independently, as well as contribute to a team
  • Be reliable for full-time working hours Monday to Friday and some weekends
  • Be committed to completing and passing all practical and theory-based study requirements of your Apprenticeship
  • Comfortable working at heights and in a physically demanding environment
  • All applicants must be able to evidence their Right To Work in Australia.
