About The Position

Advance is seeking a motivated and dependable Apprentice Electrician for a client in Midland, Texas. The role offers hands-on experience in the electrical trade, working under the supervision of licensed electricians on commercial, industrial, and/or oilfield-related projects.

Requirements

• Valid TDLR Apprentice License.
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience.
• Previous experience with residential and commercial electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical tools, testing equipment, and safety procedures.
• Basic understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a Journeyman Electrician.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions when necessary.

Nice To Haves

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
• Run EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit; pull wire; and set electrical devices.
• Install lighting, outlets, switches, and electrical panels under supervision.
• Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and job specifications.
• Use hand and power tools safely and properly.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
