About The Position
Chartwells, a partner of Compass Group specializing in catering and hospitality services for the education sector, is offering an apprenticeship chef opportunity at Saint Ignatius College Riverview, NSW. This role is for an aspiring chef looking to start their career journey towards a fully paid, Australian Nationally Recognised Qualification – Certificate III in Commercial Cookery. The apprenticeship is designed to provide hands-on industry experience in a supportive team environment, with quality mentoring from experienced chefs.
Requirements

- Be committed to completing a three-year apprenticeship
- Be punctual and reliable, with flexibility for early morning starts and occasional evening shifts for events

- Genuine passion for food and a strong desire to build a successful, ongoing career in commercial cookery
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a cook or kitchen hand
