This position is responsible for the valuation and assessment of commercial and industrial real property for property tax purposes. It requires the appraisal of complex commercial and industrial properties using the required approaches to value and mass appraisal procedures. Work involves ensuring that values are correct and completed within the specified deadlines. This position works with the other commercial and industrial appraisers to complete appraisal assignments. In addition, this position is responsible for providing information to the general public concerning the assessment and appeals processes, and for defending property value in protest and appeals.
