Our client operates in the golf course turf management industry, combining aerial drone imaging and below-ground soil intelligence to help golf course superintendents detect turf stress early. The platform uses NDVI and multispectral sensor analysis to provide data-driven insights, giving agronomy professionals visibility into issues before they become visible on the surface.

Requirements

2-3 years of experience in cold calling and appointment setting, in any industry.
Comfortable with high call volume and rejection.
Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and generate interest quickly with an older, relationship-driven audience.
Coachable, with willingness to follow direction and adjust approach based on feedback.
Experience working inside a CRM (Salesforce or similar) with consistent activity logging.
Reliable availability aligned with U.S. business hours, Central Time preferred.
Advanced English (C1+)

Responsibilities

Call golf course superintendents from provided lists, following the proven talking points and call script to spark curiosity without over-explaining the full pitch.
Handle objections and gatekeepers with poise, respecting the relationship-driven and skeptical nature of the audience.
Book discovery calls directly onto the VP's calendar with a confirmed date and time for every willing prospect.
Manage the follow-up and reminder calendar, confirming appointments, sending reminders, and rescheduling contacts who go quiet or no-show.
Log every call, outcome, and note in Salesforce to maintain clean records and enable effective follow-up.
Meet daily and weekly call volume and conversation targets consistently.
Participate in ongoing coaching sessions to refine scripting, practice objection handling, and improve call quality.
