About The Position

This role is for an Appointment Setter focused on inbound home improvement leads. The primary responsibility is to quickly call leads who have already expressed interest, qualify them, and book appointments onto the sales team's calendar. The company, Rapid Home Service Group, is experiencing rapid growth, with Rapid Roofing recognized as a top construction company and BOSS Decks being a TrexPro® Gold Installer. Leads come in through various channels including phone, text, web, Google Business Profile, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram DMs. This position is crucial for ensuring timely lead follow-up, which is identified as a key factor in customer retention within the home improvement industry. The role is remote, with daily check-ins, direct communication with sales representatives, and clear performance metrics. The energy of the role is described as similar to a hotel front desk – warm, organized, and unflappable, contrasting with traditional call center environments where leads might go unaddressed.

Requirements

  • Strong phone presence: warm, clear, professional, and quick-thinking.
  • Comfortable using a CRM daily, including typing, tagging, and timely follow-ups without reminders.
  • Reliable home office setup: stable internet, quiet workspace, headset.
  • Availability during Eastern Time business hours, including some Saturdays.
  • Self-management skills; ability to work independently and meet metrics.
  • Reference checks required.

  • Background in appointment setting, inbound CSR, hospitality front desk, dental/medical front desk, or high-volume phone-based coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Call every new inbound lead within 5 minutes of intake.
  • Qualify leads with a few quick questions regarding fit, timeline, project, and location.
  • Book appointments directly into sales reps' calendars using GoHighLevel.
  • Re-engage older leads in the pipeline with friendly check-ins.
  • Send confirmations and pre-appointment reminders to prevent no-shows.
  • Maintain a clean CRM by accurately tagging leads, updating statuses, and scheduling follow-ups.
  • Hand off leads cleanly to sales representatives with useful notes.
  • Send review and referral requests after projects are completed.
