About The Position

Fast paced, well established Pediatric practice. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, courteous, upbeat and above all professional candidate for our phone operator/scheduler position. You will be responsible for answering a high volume of calls for a busy pediatric practice. The position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
• Active Listening
• Excellent written and oral expression
• Ability to multitask
• Previous Medical office experience preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred
• 1 year of Customer service experience (Preferred)
• 1 year of Medical terminology experience (Preferred)
• 1 year of Computer skills experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provides friendly, courteous and professional service always to all patients
• Schedule/Cancel/Reschedule Appointments
• Answer patient inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
• Create telephone encounters appropriately
• Maintains and updates any patient info that is required
• Maintains open communication with the Front Desk, Clinical Staff, Providers and Leadership
• Perform other duties as assigned
