About The Position

This role involves teaching classes within the Applied Technology programs, providing student support, and managing classroom resources. The position requires delivering curriculum, grading assignments, and maintaining a safe learning environment. Additionally, the role includes assisting with student recruitment, advising, and retention efforts for the Applied Tech Programs.

Responsibilities

Teaches all assigned classes at the assigned times and provides support to enrolled students.
Submits class syllabi and book lists to the Department Office by specified dates.
Delivers content for assigned classes, provides guidance on assignments, and grades assignments.
Ensures programs/classes contain essential curricular components, appropriate content and pedagogy, and maintain currency.
Maintains regular office hours for student concerns and questions.
Submits final grades by the date specified in the official Applied Technology calendar.
Creates and maintains a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Manages classroom tools, including issuing, inspecting, repairing, and teaching proper handling.
Maintains classroom equipment through evaluation, inspection, parts ordering, and repair.
Assists in recruitment, advising, and retention of students for the Applied Tech Programs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
