Requirements

• PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience
• 4+ years of applied research experience
• 3+ years of scientists or machine learning engineers management experience
• 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience
• Knowledge of ML, NLP, Information Retrieval and Analytics
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language

Nice To Haves

• Experience building complex software systems, especially involving deep learning, machine learning and computer vision, that have been successfully delivered to customers

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of AI solutions for Prime Video recommendation and personalization systems using Deep Learning, GenAI, Reinforcement Learning, recommendation systems, and optimization methods.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to design, implement, and launch AI solutions end-to-end.
• Effectively communicate technical and non-technical ideas to teammates and stakeholders.
• Stay current with advancements and the latest modeling techniques in the field.
• Hire and grow a science team focused on video personalization.
