Responsibilities

  • Define lesson objectives and materials
  • Provide clear guidelines on studio requirements and regulations
  • Teach lessons as scheduled
  • Administer and evaluate student progress through assigned repertoire and exercises
  • Ensure that the Brass Area and Performance Division requirements are met in regard to culminating juries and recitals
  • Prepare and submit final grade and comments in accordance with policy and scheduled deadlines
  • Maintain reasonable hours of student consultation outside scheduled class hours
