About The Position

The Applications Engineer in the Security Industry works with customers and internal teams to implement, customize, and troubleshoot security solutions. They are responsible for bridging the gap between the technical side of security systems and customer needs, ensuring products are optimized for real-world applications.

Requirements

In-depth knowledge of security systems, such as surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection.
Proficient in relevant software tools for security system configuration.
Strong technical and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer service-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Knowledge of industry standards and certifications for security systems.

Responsibilities

Work directly with customers to understand their security system requirements.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting during system installation and integration.
Customize security solutions to meet specific customer needs.
Provide pre-sales support by demonstrating product capabilities and conducting presentations.
Write technical documentation and manuals for security systems.
Collaborate with the product development team to improve product offerings based on customer feedback.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
