About The Position

4Wall is seeking an Applications Engineer to support its Systems Sales teams across all locations. The role focuses on lighting system integration and system design, developing and engineering proposals for lighting control systems, custom integration solutions, general lighting solutions, and other requirements needed to quote opportunities. Opportunities may have an existing specification or may involve design development. The position is full time and is part of a company specializing in production equipment and services for concerts, television, theater, festivals, and corporate events.

Requirements

• Five years of experience in the lighting industry designing or installing systems.
• In-depth understanding of lighting technologies and protocols.
• Ability to lay out a system.
• Solid computer skills.
• Ability to draft in AutoCAD.

Nice To Haves

• An undergraduate degree in a technical field is greatly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an expert in lighting system integration and system design.
• Work with Systems Sales teams in all locations to develop and engineer proposals.
• Design lighting control systems, custom integration solutions, and general lighting solutions.
• Determine requirements needed to properly quote opportunities, including opportunities without a working specification or involving design development.
