About The Position
This internship focuses on supporting customers in designing USB Type-C and Power Delivery interfaces for their systems. The role involves assisting in firmware development and customization, debugging and validating customer hardware against Infineon firmware, performing hands-on testing and validation of Power Delivery controllers using lab equipment, contributing to application notes and reference designs, and assisting in training customers and field engineers on Infineon USB Type-C and Power Delivery solutions.
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with relevant coursework
- Basic experience with firmware development in C and debugging tools
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers
- Understanding of serial interfaces like USB, I2C, UART, SPI
- Basic knowledge of power circuits like DC-DC converters or LDOs
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset
Nice To Haves
- USB Type-C knowledge is a plus
Responsibilities
