About The Position

The Applications Development Expert works with the Architect to provide automated systems applications to the Client internal and external customers. This individual will be viewed as a technical expert and critical technical resource in the development of project deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• At least seven (7) years of IT software systems development experience using AngularJS.
• A minimum of five (5) years of which must be in the public safety sector.
• In-depth knowledge of state-of-the art programming languages and object-oriented approach in designing, coding, testing and debugging programs.

Nice To Haves

• A strong understanding of Microsoft SQL database structures and SQL Reporting Services is desired.
• Familiarity with Maryland’s regulated firearm and handgun permitting laws preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing enterprise level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features.
• Developing complex and business critical software solutions, utilizing appropriate software engineering processes in concert with a project team.
• Assisting in the resolution of difficult support problems.
• Understanding and applying current application development methodologies consistently.
• Acting as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor and change agent.
