About The Position

The Applications Developer II designs, develops, tests, and maintains business applications and services that support organizational objectives. The role works with product owners, business stakeholders, quality assurance teams, and developers to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions. The developer is expected to deliver features independently, contribute to technical design discussions, troubleshoot complex issues, and continually improve technical skills and development practices. The position includes translating business and functional requirements into technical solutions; developing and supporting applications, APIs, services, and software components; participating in Agile delivery; maintaining software quality through code reviews and testing; and contributing to improvements in development processes, tools, and team standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2–5 years of professional software development experience.
Experience developing applications using C# and .NET.
Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries.
Experience using Git-based source control systems.
Experience working within Agile software development teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of modern software development methodologies and software development life cycles (SDLC).
Knowledge of object-oriented design and programming principles.
Knowledge of cloud-based application development and deployment concepts.
Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
Knowledge of application security, performance optimization, and maintainability best practices.
Knowledge of database design and SQL development.
Proficiency in C# and .NET development and in SQL and database querying.
Proficiency with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design techniques.
Ability to develop and consume REST APIs and web services.
Ability to use source control systems and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and business needs.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain applications, APIs, services, and software components.
