Experience with semiconductor packaging materials & strategies is a plus

Responsibilities

Performs theoretical and experimental scientific and technological investigation directed toward the acquisition of new knowledge.
May conduct analytical, experimental, investigative and other fact-finding work to support principal scientific research.
Prepares comprehensive documented observations, analyses and interpretations of results, including technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses.
Identifies, assesses and develops new scientific concepts/technologies in basic or applied research with significant business impact.
Documents research leading to patent disclosure or technical and/or scientific advancement.
Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own discipline and advanced knowledge of other disciplines
Builds broader understanding of the company’s business portfolio and supporting technologies.
May be called upon as a technical consultant or for very complex assignments
Learns and applies innovative methods, tools and technology beyond area of expertise.
Leads technical projects or programs through development and/or implementation.
Helps mentor employees within focus technical area.
Is seen as a trusted business partner with a proven track record of demonstrated success.
Solves diverse and challenging problems that arise from changing priorities or new situations.
Assembles and leads teams to solve complex business problems.
