Application Support Technician
About The Position
The person sought will evolve within a team whose goal is to provide support for applications used in branches as well as to lead the training of new applications. We are looking for a dynamic, organized and tech-savvy individual who can work independently while being an effective contributor to the team. You are an excellent communicator, with a customer service-oriented approach, and you have a strong desire to learn and grow. You are also flexible and able to adapt quickly to new tools and technologies. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and training others, especially in an environment where innovation and continuous improvement are key.
Requirements
- Srong understanding of the industry and the relationships between suppliers, retailers and consumers
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong analytical and meticulous skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build relationships
- Interest in fashion and trends
- Very good command of branch applications: point of sale, appointment scheduling, inventory application.
- Computer skills and technical expertise.
- Versatility and ability to adapt quickly to changes.
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously in a structured manner.
- Attention to detail.
- Teamwork skills and collaboration with different departments.
- Ability to communicate clearly and convey information effectively.
- Functional bilingualism (English, French) both oral and written.
Responsibilities
- Support users in the use of branch applications: point of sale, appointment scheduling, inventory application
- Follow up on phone calls and emails
- Configure branch applications
- Produce and maintain application documentation
- Write application user and training manuals
- Lead training for branch applications
- Actively participate in the implementation of all new branch applications
- Produce and validate test transactions for different projects
